All merchandise and associated charges on this site ( hilltribe.com ) are priced in Canadian Dollars. US Credit Cards purchasers will be billed on their statements in US$ at the Canadian conversion rate on the day of purchase.
Provincial Tax
We are required to charge GST sales tax in all provinces of Canada and HST in NS, NB, NFLD. This only applies if you live in a province of Canada.
Shipping & Handling
Shipping charges in Canada & the United States are determined by the order amount. All orders are shipped Surface Post unless otherwise requested. Shipping time takes on average 4-7 business days.
If using our printed text order form, one of our representatives will phone of fax you within 24 hours to confirm the shipping & tax (if applicable) charges to your destination. For our policy on returned merchandise please see below .
Privacy Policy
We do not sell, exchange or in any way divulge any personal information gathered on this site to 3rd parties. Periodically we may send you information on special promotions if you have expressed an interest in receiving this by checking the appropriate box ( default is unchecked ).
Security
You can be confident that your credit card and personal information will be protected when you shop with Hilltribe Designs. We do not store any personal or credit card information online.
Returns
If we have sent you the wrong merchandise, or the article arrived damaged, you may return it within ten (10) calendar days (via the Same Postal Method that it was sent) for a full credit exchange at our expense. That is, we will refund or credit your account for the amount of return shipping you have paid, and ship the correct replacement article to you as soon as possible.
Refunds
If you decide that you don't really " like" the merchandise (can it be possible?), you may return it within seven (7) calendar days, at your expense, for exchange, credit, or refund (minus a 10% restocking fee).
Returned articles must be in new, unused, undamaged and unwashed condition. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. We recommend that you send your return via an insured carrier. We are not responsible for lost returns. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges of returned items.
In either case, please notify us at contact@hilltribe.com before returning any merchandise.
Disclaimer
Although we have tried our best to ensure that all pictures, text and amounts in this catalog are correct and representative, there may be (for example) typographical errors in the pricing or descriptions, or programming bugs in the links between the descriptions and the photographs.
We will do our best to come to a fair resolution with you, if such errors result in your being dissatisfied. However, our limit of liability will be to refund your full purchase price or to replace your merchandise with the proper article, at our discretion.
